From Monday to Friday, people could apply for visa from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 a.m., and take back visa from 14:00 p.m to 16:00 p.m. at Consulate General of Malaysia in Kunming.
A single visa on-arrival at Malaysia requires people to prepare paper materials including round-trip air tickets, two passport-sized photos with white background, and original passport. If the applicant is under age, household register and birth certificate should also be prepared.
Normally three days will be taken by the Consulate to verify applications if all the paper materials are complete. With single visa, people could enjoy 30-day-long detention period in Malaysia.
Besides visa application, people should also submit some notarial certifications in regard to marriage registration, education background, driving license, etc. at Consulate General of Malaysia in Kunming, if they need to study, work or enjoy self-driving tour in Malaysia.
